These scenes evolve as part of an ongoing relationship with colour and texture juxtaposition. Working from memories of dreams where I’m flying over the land like a bird, swooping along the coast or valleys and exploring the strata and typography of the land. Geology and archaeology studied in my late teens and as a subsidiary in my degree, have embedded my passion for the earth. I look at patterns and relationships between forms and edit compositions from aerial and panoramic views in my own individual response.
