Together by Helen Trevisiol Duff

An artwork inspired by hope, love and being reunited. A painting about unity and being together. With reference to the Japanese Blossom Season, the painting shows two birds flying towards each other to be reunited. The diptych can be hung side by side, in alcoves or in separate spaces, knowing that there is a link between the two. Symbolic of a relationship where each partner exists in their own right but harmonises when brought together. The birds are swifts, the elusive angels of the air, symbolising hope. The blossom represents the fragility and beauty of life. There is a positivity coming through in the golden glazes and energetic brushstrokes.
